ROLE

I have partnered with a global manufacturing business to source a SAP Material Management Specialist. Working directly with internal clients you will gather requirements to analyse, design, and implement best practices and business solutions, ultimately aligning technology with the business strategy.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Understand and document both functional and technical requirements,

• Undertake process analysis, design/redesign of Integrated supply chain and Material Management processes.

• Build, test and deploy SAP best practices and improve business processes in the area of Supply chain, Logistics and Sales.

• Manage tickets, lead tasks and projects to ensure the project's success, and support SAP users across the International division.

REPORTING TO

• Head of IT (European HQ).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in SAP implementation projects.

• Strong business process understanding in Material Management, Supply chain and/or Intercompany process.

• Hands-on expertise (customisation / configuration) in SAP MM.

• General understanding re Integration of SAP SD to other relevant modules, e.g. Finance and Sales & Distribution.

• Identify, analyse and resolve business application problems in an ERP environment.

• You will be driven, conscientious, collaborative by nature, and have high standards. You must have excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work with people across different business units and across different countries.

LOCATION

• This is a global organisation with HQ and IT sitting outside of the UK (Europe). There are two sites in the UK, one just outside London and the other in the North East of England. The role holder will be based from the North East site but remote/hybrid working is acceptable.
