Interim IT Director

I have partnered with a successful Consumer / FMCG organisation in Reading to lead the search for an Interim IT Director.

ROLE

• Interim IT Director.

REPORTING TO

• UK MD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of the senior leadership team, representing the technology function for the UK arm of the business.

• Provide strategic thought leadership across all areas of UK IT.

• Lead transformation initiatives.

• Build strong relationships across the UK IT function and across all other business units.

• Coach and mentor the existing technology team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrable background as a senior leader, IT Director, CIO.

• Proven experience developing and leading strategies and processes across service, architecture, infrastructure, security, digital, and data.

• Ability to balance strategy with operational performance.

• Commercially minded, with a deep understanding of how technology is used to drive customer satisfaction.

• Demonstrable background in systems development, service delivery, infrastructure.

• Experience of implementing ERP systems.

• Management of third party suppliers.

• Exceptional people and communication skills. Diplomatic, with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business and across different business functions.

LOCATION

• Reading.

HYBRID / FLEXIBLE WORKING

• Flexible/hybrid work is supported although visibility is preferred, particularly for the first 3 months.
