I have partnered with an esteemed organisation in Yorkshire to lead the search for an

Information Security Manager to strengthen the IT leadership team.

ROLE

Information Security Manager.

REPORTING TO

● The role holder will report to the CIO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Develop a comprehensive suite of InfoSec policies and standards.

● Create, implement and oversee policies, standards, and methodologies.

● Continually monitor information security controls, KPIs, and the overall technical

landscape from a security perspective.

● Drive a closer alignment between the business and IT delivery.

● Assume responsibility for the proactive and continuous improvement of the overall level

of IT and information security.

● Lead on compliance reviews, certifications, and accreditations.

● Work closely with the commercial and IT leadership teams to define and deliver

approaches/standards, and share best practice.

● Act as a trusted advisor, providing practical advice on all IT related security topics.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

● Strong understanding of computer networks and systems.

● Natural ability to identify potential risks, and the ability to develop strategies to mitigate

such risks.

● You will be a natural business partner and leader, with proven InfoSec experience.

● A deep understanding of IT security standards and related frameworks (ISO27001,

ISO27002, ISO27005).

● Expert level understanding of GDPR.

● Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a natural ability to

create and manage relationships with business and functional leaders.

LOCATION

West Yorkshire

HYBRID WORKING

 3 days a week in the office is required.

SALARY & PACKAGE

● Base salary - to £80,000

● Car allowance - £5,000
