COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS MANAGER / PLATFORM MANAGER - SALESFORCE
The role holder will be responsible for activities, technologies and resources relating to the operations of all commercial applications (SaaS and Inhouse) used by the commercial business teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal etc). The role holder will lead the support and future evolution for all applications and related technologies and services, that ultimately ensure activities are aligned within the context of a strategic framework.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain the application strategy associated with the commercial applications, commercial product roadmaps and aligning these to organisational ambitions.
Drive usage and penetration of the company's CRM system, Salesforce.com, to a pan-European user-base of approximately 650 users, spread across 18 countries.
Ensure scalability, performance and resilience of the application landscape, including adequate backups, disaster recovery etc, and ensuring the processes to respond to and resolve incidents are defined and suitably resourced given the nature of a global platform and business operations.
Establish a best-in-class management of 3rd party solution partners.
Collaborate with the development teams, project management, IT service and support teams and others, to support activities, respond to their needs and respond to incidents.
Create budgetary reports and recommendations as appropriate to existing and planned platform initiatives.
Establish controls around capacity management, using the various inputs in terms of new projects/initiatives and business acquisition demands.
SLA/OLA management across the various application and environment owners.
Pro-active supplier management, working to a balanced scorecard or similar framework.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Demonstrable Salesforce admin experience.
Salesforce certification - desired, not essential.
Experience in or ability to work in a fast-moving and growing organisation.
Good communicator at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines.
Team Player, able to provide input into multifunctional teams.

LOCATION
UK HQ is in Manchester. This role offers hyrbid or fully remote working.
