I have partnered with an established professional services organisation to lead the recruitment
process for an experienced IT Support Engineer. The role holder will join an established and
experienced team of 1st and 2nd line support engineers. Opportunities for progression within

ROLE
IT Support Engineer.
REPORTING TO
IT Support Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support.
● Resolve a wide range of IT issues in a timely manner via telephone, email, and in-
person site visits.
● Work with the wider helpdesk team to ensure all business systems are supported and
maintained to a high standard.
● Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
● Active Directory management, including user provisioning and security configurations.
● Server administration (user management, software installations, systems updates).
● Network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN configurations).
● Telephone system support.
● Other general 1st and 2nd line support duties.
● Identify and resolve Office 365 issues, including Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
● Ensure all incidents are closed in a timely manner.
● Support ad hoc IT projects as needed.
● Provide onsite support across UK sites as required.
● Provide excellent customer service at all times.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
● Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer.
● Deep knowledge of / experience supporting Office 365.
● Active Directory.
● Cloud based systems such as Azure, AWS.
● Network support.
● Server Administration.
● Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to work effectively with others.
● Customer focused.
● Analytical, problem solving mindset.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
● Understanding of virtual environments, VMware Horizon and VID.
● Experience with hardware / software builds.
LOCATION
Oxford
HYBRID / OFFICE WORKING
The role holder is required to work in the office 5 days per week and may be required to
travel to other UK locations as needed.
SALARY & PACKAGE DETAILS
● Base salary £30,000 - £34,000.
● Pension.
